It is with great pleasure that the City Circle and St James's Church invite you to an Interfaith Iftar at St James’s Church, Piccadilly on Saturday 3 June 2017 at 7:30pm. The Iftar aims to bring Britons of all faiths, and none, together to celebrate Ramadan and our shared values. This year, the keynote speaker will be Baroness Sayeeda Warsi.
For the past six years, the church has hosted a Winter Shelter, in partnership with the West London Day Centre, 12 other London churches and West London Synagogue. Last year, The City Circle was proud to have joined the team at St James’s in providing weekly support to our homeless guests. This has been a great collaboration and one we will continue into the future.
As well as the keynote address from Baroness Warsi, there will be a discussion on the importance of building strong interfaith communities, followed by the breaking of the fast, evening prayers and dinner.
We look forward to seeing you there.
This is a ticketed event so please book your tickets through Eventbrite. For security reasons, no entry will be granted without registered tickets. No tickets will be available on the door.
All welcome. Prayer space available. Doors open at 19:30 and the talk begins at 20:00. If you have any questions, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
